Washington Regional Medical Center billing and collection policies are consistent with our mission and values. When you receive a bill from Washington Regional, it covers the services you received at one of our healthcare facilities. You may receive separate bills from your personal physician, surgeon, pathologist, radiologist or other healthcare professionals.
If you need assistance with your account or have specific questions, our Customer Service Representatives are available at 252.793.4135 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. You may leave a voicemail message after hours. Messages are retrieved the next business day. Spanish-speaking representatives are also available.
Medical Record Requests
You can request a copy of your medical records, or the medical records of someone you have legal representation over, or authorize that medical records be sent to another party by calling 252.793.4135.
Requested medical records will be available for pick up in two business days, Monday through Friday, at Health Information Management between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
You will need to bring a means of identifying yourself before we can release your medical records. Please bring either a driver’s license or other type of photo identification. If you have requested medical records for someone for whom you have legal representation, you will need to provide documentation such as a Healthcare Power of Attorney.
If you need financial assistance or have questions about your insurance, our financial counselors are happy to be of service. We can help you find and apply for discounts from federal, state and medical center programs.
