The radiology team at Washington Regional Medical Center strives to deliver quality care and increase patient satisfaction by offering a variety of diagnostic services. We offer general radiological services (e.g., X-ray) and ultrasounds, as well as 16-slice CT imaging and 3D digital mammography.

The Radiology Department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, staffed by registered radiology technologists. We transmit images to radiology physician specialists with Eastern Radiology Inc. from Greenville, North Carolina, who read them and report results. This teleradiology coverage has resulted in physicians receiving reports within one hour of a radiology service being performed.
