In our 25-bed Medical-Surgical Unit, we care for acute and chronically ill patients 24 hours a day. Using a skilled team of physicians, nurses, and therapists, we provide care on a personalized, one-on-one basis to all patients admitted to Washington Regional Medical Center, and we are deeply committed to timely communication with our patients’ families and caregivers.

Outpatient Hospital Care
Our outpatient care services deliver healthcare that heals through our expertise and technology in wound care, infusion therapy and other specialty outpatient services, including cardiology (heart care) and podiatry (foot care). We offer telehealth visits whenever possible, and additional specialites coming soon will include pain management, nephrology (kidney care), and endocrinology/diabetic clinic, a pulmonology/asthma/COPD clinic and pediatrics.
Plymouth Primary Care Clinic
At Plymouth Primary Care & Clinic, we prevent illness, diagnose and treat patients throughout their lifetimes. Our primary care team sees patients of all ages, from children to seniors and everyone in between.
Emergency Care
Our Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for those times that patients are injured or get sick when their regular family physician is not available.
Lab Services
Located inside our hospital and at Plymouth Primary Care & Clinic, our laboratory services improve patient care by providing the utmost convenience for patients and delivering most test results the very same day.
Radiology
Our 24-hour radiology department provides a wide variety of diagnostic imaging services, from general radiological services and ultrasounds to CT imaging and 3D digital mammography.
Physical Therapy
Whether it’s physical rehabilitation from an injury, disease or just the natural aging process, our physical therapy team works with each patient to create a custom program for achieving individual therapy and activity goals.
Women’s Health
Women have unique healthcare needs at life’s various stages, so we provide a range of women’s health services to deliver personalized care, just for women. In the convenience of a private Women’s Health Center, patients receive diagnosis and treatment options for a variety of specialties.
Comfort Services
We care for the health of our patients and families in many ways, going far beyond medical services to deliver healthy experiences in a friendly, comfortable environment.
Swing Bed Program
Our Swing Bed program is ideal for patients who no longer need acute care, yet still need skilled nursing care and therapy. Patients who need short-term nursing or rehabilitation service can be cared for around the clock by our medical team without having to go to a nursing home.
