Medical-Surgical Acute Care Unit
Washington Regional Medical Center’s Medial Surgical Unit cares for acute and chronically ill patients 24 hours a day. Due to the Hospitalist Program, care is provided on a personal one-on-one basis to all patients who are admitted in addition to vital communication with the family of our patients. Patients are cared for by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Physician Assistants, Certified Nursing Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners. These individuals are well qualified to care for patients and do so willingly.
The 25-beds offered on the Medical Surgical Unit encompass patients with needs for the swing bed and 24-hour observation. These beds along with the nursing staff are equipped to satisfy the medical needs of every patient. Patients can expect nothing but the best at their time of need.
